Student from Guwahati Molested in Kolkata

A young woman student from Guwahati filed an FIR with the Lake Police Station, Kolkata alleging that she had been raped by a Kolkata-based businessman in a guest house.

According to her, she was introduced by her friends to Rakesh Chowdhury, a Kolkata based businessman, who is married, and a resident of Salt Lake area.

The woman claimed that Rakesh Chowdhury, offered her drinks in a city restaurant and she became unconscious after having the drink. Then the accused took her to a city guest house and raped her there.

As per the information,the accused businessman and his wife is absconding.
